Why bother pursuing him to contribute to this blog? Do you think he's going to say, "oh yes of course I see the light of day now! I'll stop brainwashing adolescents and dismantle IBLP post haste"?
You owe it to yourselves to focus on your recovery -- not on Gothard.
But can't we have a little bit of fun with him during the recovery? He may have some tidbits of information that can shed some light on how you got to this point, right? And yes, there is that "remote chance" that he will say "Oh YES, of course, I see the light of day now! I'll stop brainwashing adolescents (you didn't include adults here, which surprised me...adults OBVIOUSLY were brainwashed...that's how the adolescents got here!) and dismantle IBLP post haste!"
I have never been involved in ATI/IBLP, but I'm married to one that was and let me tell you, it makes for some "interesting" conversations. I would imagine that sitting down and talking to Gothard could be theraputic, you know, with all of the neat little electrical gadgets and restraining devices they have these days. (wink)
Recover people!!! There is fun to be had and life to be lived. :) L8tr dayz...

XATI guy....this is a fantastic blog. I am also a former ATIA guy...did the Oakbrook thing...conferences...and even many (don't take this the wrong way...please) one on ones with the little man with the big blue cad.
