Saturday, September 20, 2008 Is moose hunting a character quality? Salon.com reports that under Mayor Sarah Palin, the Alaska town of Wasilla was a City of Character. All I can say is that when God closes a door, he opens a window. My heart broke when Mike Huckabee bowed out of the Republican race. And now it turns out that the vice presidential candidate brought "fringe biblical teachings to her work" as mayor. |

Steve Menzel is a prick. Salon did a great job on that piece. I wonder if they will read it at the Monday morning meeting and then sing a few rounds of "It will be worth it all"
yeah, i had a hunch today and googled "Gothard Palin" and *voila*... somehow i just couldn't believe that a neo-con fundamentalist with such political "promise" could have escaped bill's opportunistic groping. get ready for a round of photos in IBLP publications... bill, palin, and maybe a wide-eyed youth or two. (it would only be better if boris yeltsin was still around to add to the effect of the photo op... ah, the good old days!)
I've been telling people for a while that I'm not going to vote again until there is a candidate who has enough integrity to not spear his/her opponent (unpatriotic, I know)...But as I've watched this race go on, I've become so scared of McCain (who I am convinced would make us wish for Bush back) and now Palin that I'm going to vote...I'm not a fan of the "lesser of two evils" decision, but hey, at this point...evil is becoming relative.
