Thanks for posting again! My husband and I enjoy reading everything. Being an X-ATI-er myself, I relate to many of these things and the frustration that has been caused as a result.
I just had a little question for Mr. Gothard. Does he struggle with acceptance for the way God created him? It seems to me that for the past 10 years he's had a hard time accepting the fact that he's going bald. I remember 10 yrs ago seeing him in person on a windy day and his come-over being blown so high in the air that the birds in the air had to dodge it and the people around him could hardly contain their snickers. No offense, Mr. Gothard, I'm just concerned for your fear of accepting your design by trying to hide how God has made you.
I second Daniel's comment...part of the hell of the world that we live in is that people like Bill Gothard are used to corrupt and discount something so beautiful as God's love for us...no matter how f-ed up we become. I don't care if Gothard finds himself in heaven with me or not, I just can't wait for the peace we're promised there. :) Thank you God, for a million second chances.

Sorry Bill, but I don't think you'll get that chance since you'll never set foot into those pearly gates anyway!
If he's gonna be there, I don't want to be there that's for sure, but I have no doubt in my heart I'll have to worry about that whatsoever.
Lilypad, there is no reason whatsoever to think that Bill won't be in heaven. You can rant and rave all you want about some of the things he believes and teaches about life, but to be the one to cast the first stone about salvation like that, you'd have to be without sin. Sin is sin no matter what kind and you're just as sinful as Bill as am I. We're saved by the free grace and the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ that doesn't choose people based on what kind of sin they have in their life. It forgives sin, no matter the type.

Bill Gothard will not be in Heaven at all because he trusts his self-righteousness rather than resting his Faith upon the Lord Jesus Christ. Consider Galatians 2:21 in the Bible. If righteousness before the Lord was obtained by any type of human effort, then Jesus Christ would be dead in vain.
In fact, Bill Gothard is going to Hell for the reason mentioned above. He will be in Hell with Billy Graham, George W. Bush, Barack Obama, Pat Robertson, Joel Osteen, etcetera. Later on, Bill Gothard will be in the Lake of Fire as mentioned in Revelation 20:15, unless he places His Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
